Re: Lost in Space on Horror
Check out tonight's episode All That Glitters.
We all know nowadays that the myth of the Captain Pugwash characters has been shown to be false.
But there's a guest character in this one episode of Lost In Space called Security Officer Bolix, and the cast namecheck him several times.
Sorry.

Re: What was there before Braveheart? Opinions please.
Yes, there are hundreds of period drama films. What a peculiar question! Also very odd to reference Braveheart, which is basically based on history, and pure fantasy like Highlander in the same bracket. Shall we say, very loosely based? I. All right, loosely based, basically based. Whatever. The po...

Re: Gerry and Sylvia Anderson UFO convention 2017
Gary Raymond (Col Grey in the episode The Man Who Came Back) is joining the SHADOCon event as a guest.
Sadly, we have to report that Ruric Powell, who was to have been a guest, died recently. SHADOCon plans to screen one of the episodes he wrote - The Dalotek Affair.

I did like the start of The Yukon Affair at HQ. Where it takes three of them to push the trolley with the small stones on it. McCallum in his shades giving a scientific explanation for the stones heaviness/density.

Re: The Prisoner - on True Ent.
All old TV series and films must exist in all sorts of hacked about versions due to the sensibilities of individual TV stations 50 years ago, time to squeeze in more adverts etc.

Re: The Prisoner - on True Ent.
Tonight's episode The Girl Who Was Death was heavily cut at at least one point. The pub scene has the entire bit missing where he orders and downs a load of stiff drinks so he can vomit and get rid of the poison. It cuts from reading the You have just been poisoned message at the bottom of the glass...

No, of course it wasn't Store of the Worlds. The parrot is the only thing that might make people think of that one.
It sounds like it could be something by Clifford Simak. It seems his style.
