Re: The Worst US TV and film depictions of Britain

The real direct desdendant of Brian Boru, king of Ireland...

:D ah, but wasn't last weeks episode excellent if fairly brutal with Ried's killing of Buckley. I just love Jerome Flynn's part as Blake. The man has charisma in bucket loads. Roll on 9pm tonight!

It's been a while, but I did get to watch WAMpart 2 a while back, though thought it slightly anti-climatic! Anyway, tonight got round to seeing DRAGON CHASE - We see Harry cooking for Russian writer Nicolai Ivanov while caretaking the large country house of publisher Lock. After answering the door t...

Did u enjoy the series MDK? Quite hilarious at times to see what Gene [secret agent and world famous film star] gets up to. The famous fight with collapsing curtain rail scene, and then when Gene is mobbed by screaming teenage girls in the hotel lobby! :)

Enjoyed WAM pt 1 of a 2 parter. Opening scenes of Alpine cable-car and a moustached man acting suspiciously. After titles stock footage of London's Trafalgar square, Bank and Hyde park corner with plenty of RT & RM buses.....then to Harry's cosy flat with a Jensen Interceptor parked outside. A man c...

Enjoyed GOODBYE GEORGE last night. Very much a Caroline episode with no sign of the other 'Protectors'. And Nyree is great in it too. Scene of a case being tossed into a Venetian canal by a long haired Paul Jones who plays Casper to start off with. After main titles nice footage of New York where Ca...

Saw 'Baubles, Bangles and Beads' the other night. Opening scenes at Tivoli gardens and by the waterside in a sunny Copenhagen. A lorry blocks a country lane where a jewellery robbery takes place, only one of the 'gang' makes a run with the case of jewels on his own, and is injured/shot in the proces...

Very sad to hear this news. Been watching the original series on CBS Action the last year. It remains the best Star Trek. The characters of Spock, Kirk, McCoy etc were fantastic. I remember Leonard as Paris in 2 season's of Mission Impossible also. Rest in Peace.

Yes, it quite surprised me really, the British intelligence man was made to look like a rather nasty piece of work, along with the Soviet side. We are left wondering which side was responsible for Irene's tragic death. I enjoyed this episode despite the sad ending.
