Re: alma player @ 80 asst.prod Old Grey Whistle Test

I remember your Mum! Glad to hear she's going strong. I got to know her when I worked in the VT Cataloguing Unit at TC... she used to call down to ask for tape numbers for old programmes etc. In the end, I plucked up courage and asked her if she could get me into the studio for a few OGWT's (I was t...

Re: Crowdfunding Factual Programming

The Wright Way

Re: Original and creative BBC

.........only slightly off-topic, but not really. Motor racing is my thing. I've produced a couple of doco's and a few DVD's. Recently the BBC aired three one hour motorsport documentaries...the subjects being Colin McRae (rally driver) and Jackie Stewart and Stirling Moss (Formula 1 drivers). The '...

ISIRTA on 4Extra this Saturday morning

Just a quick heads up for the ISIRTA 3 hour special which will air this saturday morning on BBC Radio 4Extra from 9am. It will repeat at 7pm in the evening too. Introduced by Bill Oddie, expect 5 or 6 episodes plus some snippets from producer Humphrey Barclay and others. Sounds good !

I first got interested in animation, and then further on, film making after catching the episode of the 'DIY Film Animation Show' that featured Terry Gilliam back in 1974, I think.
