Have you noticed, all the episodes of this series so far, have been set on Earth, (apart from a chunk of the one a fortnight ago).

In different times, but not much anywhere else.

Perhaps there's to be a blu-ray release.
Running at 24fps seems to be a fad at the moment.

Re: Vendetta 1966-68 - any hope of a DVD set ?

It was the launch of it that grabbed my attention. If they had announced it as a way to see, even fleetingly, things that were hidden by man-made 'rights' issues, then I would have been cheering. But they chose to present it as a new way to see old material; which it undoubtedly was, although a dist...

Re: The All-Purpose Current Doctor Who (2005-) Thread

Apparently, this is a legitimate Doctor, according to Chibnall in the Daily Mirror yesterday. It waits to be revealed at which point she's going to be shoved in. The consensus seems to be in between Troughton and Pertwee. Chibnall's wrong. There was NO Doctor between Troughton and Pertwee. I was wa...

Opened On 19th July 2013. By which time cheap DVD had supplanted expensive VHS, and internet access was as widespread as gas and electricity. It was perfectly clear by now that archives were to be stored electronically, and retrieved using a personal computer via the internet. (The archives availabl...

It was a joke at the time, and I said so at the time.
What a boon it would have been in the 1960s. What a step forward in wider-access television.
Just think of how much now-lost material would have survived in its inventory.

You posted the question in a few different places. But if you have a good reason for wanting to see them, more than just superficial curiosity, then you could book a viewing session at the BFI on appointment. You'd have to be in London or possibly a few affiliated places would do as well. There use...

The die-hard fans will shortly be along to announce the exact point where the off-screen Doctor and his nemesis visited the radio telescope at Jodrell Bank, thus justifying yet another simple continuity error.

I have a B&W licence for the 405-line DEFIANT tv in the messroom at work. I was trying to point out that the title, along with the Sunday tea-time slot, may have caused people to 'turn over' in error.
