Perfectly cast in Bucket of Barbed Wire and its sequel. Also as Inspector Lestrade, twice.

Yes, "Casanova" and "Dracula", are the two that always come to mind first, excellent in both of course.

Fantastic Actor, very sad news.

RIP. An incredible performance in The Death of Adolf Hitler, and an eerie performance (which haunted my childhood) as the Witchsmeller Pursuivant in Blackadder.

Very sad to hear this. He was absolutely superb in the 1967 BBC TV version of Les Miserables, but then he was brilliant in every part he played.

What an unbelievable January this has been.

Yes, I was also sad to learn this. I enjoyed his part in the film 'Robbery' with Stanley Baker.
