Apparently John 'Llewellyn' Moxey died in April.

Thought he was worth a mention here as he was a director of countless episodes of some of the forum's favourite shows in the UK during the 50/60s...Including one of my favourite Avengers "Who's Who"

He appeared to take anything on (live,VTR or film) whereas some directors just stuck to one format.

He moved to the US in the late 60s and continued a prolific run of directing episodes of most of the shows we are all familiar with over here.
Maybe still in the vaults are perhaps two of his last UK VT plays 'The Tormentors' ATV. with Stanley Baker and James Mason and 'Dial M for Murder' AR.with Lawrence Harvey and Diane Cilento?

Amazingly enough, I was watching his 1966 Armchair Theatre Dead Silence today.

oh that's good as I thought most of the mid 60s ATs were missing.

What did you think of it?
