Basically any TV series of any note would have at least a script written by Roger Marshall... probably several, and of course his shining beacon Public Eye
If there was such a thing as fairness in the world, then it was very unfair that such an imaginative and conscientious writer struggled with Alzheimer's disease during his last years.

Whether "Public Eye" or "The Avengers", when his name appears, you know you are in for a treat.
He understood TV, a great loss.

Public Eye being a classic textbook example of a thoughtful script, masterfully executed. Always a treat to watch his ‘stuff’.

I interviewed Roger Marshall in 2011, discussing Public Eye, Douglas Camfield and Missing From Home in particular. It's in three parts, starting here - http://blogs.reading.ac.uk/spaces-of-te ... ublic-eye/

Yes, it's excellent, although I'm not sure about his views on "Crossroads" and "Survivors", but a fascinating read.
