That's very sad news. I think he first came to my attention on the original radio version of Whose Line Is It Anyway?. Very sharp-witted, imaginative and erudite.

He had more to give and we have been cut short.

Loved his impressions Stella Street comes to mind but obviously a lot more

I don't often post on here - life circumstances being the main reason - but John Sessions was in a class of his own. His impression of Keith Richards was pitched perfectly. Mick and Keith apparently loved it!

There was a tribute on the BBC South news this lunchtime which includes archive footage of his first TV appearances. It will probably be included in South Today this evening and be available on iPlayer for 24 hours.

Another shock loss.

Always came across as a charming and likeable soul, can't think of anything I didn't like him in.
