Buff Hardie has passed away. He was the last of the entertainment trio Scotland the What? The name cleverly reflecting, of course, their gentle take on the sentiments behind the song Scotland the Brave, let us know exactly what to expect in an evening of great comedy and music. I learned today that his nickname stemmed from there being three Williams in his school class and he became 'Buffalo Bill'. He was very much into the writing of their comedy and I and many others certainly enjoyed the result. RIP.
