WOW! Now that IS a good spot! I think I'm right in thinking that the right hand pic is from Hancock's 'The Punch and Judy Man'??

O/T,but by coincidence,I was watching a film directed by Michael Gordon yesterday.IMDB tells us:

Director Michael Gordon had a superstition that made him put at least one of his favorite paintings by Edgar O. Kiechle into each film he directed.

It's obviously a case of what they find in the props store.

In an episode of "The Avengers", (The See-Through Man") there is a static prop of a robot in Roy Kinnear's lab, it had previously popped up in a number of films going back to the fifties, including "Orders Are Orders", it looked rather good.
