I have a memory of a programme I've never been able to find...
It's mid 70s. An edwardian drama about a little girl - something about her being brought up alone and one of her servants teaches her the song 'The Boy I Love is up in the Gallery'. I remember a scene of her in a garden picking flowers and singing the song.
I dont' remember much else but it's bothered me for years. At one point, I thought I'd located it but it's gone again...
Another long lost memory...
Re: Another long lost memory...
Wild guess: The Secret Garden.
Re: Another long lost memory...
You've asked this question elsewhere, haven't you? I'm sure I've read a thread about it before.
So you checked out all those suggestions (Edward The Seventh, Cribb, The Edwardians) and they weren't what you remember?

Haha! I made almost the same response in that thread. I'd forgotten it'd been asked.

And both times,I've been reminded of Toad falling in love with a Music Hall artiste called Lettice Pumfrit.Ross wrote:Haha! I made almost the same response in that thread. I'd forgotten it'd been asked.

Still nothing that rings the bell, though...perhaps that's what made me post again...
Hmmm...
