No reason why it should do - subtitling is nothing like as expensive as some like to suggest. And indeed, if a release is truly niche that's all the more reason why the single and only time it is ever likely to be released, should be in a form which everyone can enjoy. (Which would, after all, also translate into a modest extra number of sales, too.)

One release that would be welcomed all over would be the series Shoulder to Shoulder......after the film Suffragette and the very successful BFI compilation of archive footage, it would do very well.....

Top of my list, is still "Mogul/Troubleshooters" and "Doctor At the Top".

Although, complete sets of "Goodies" and "Sykes" would be great.

Can we hope for some obscure ones..?....like "Outa Space!" and "Ed and Zed", with surviving editions of "Zokko!" added.

As grateful as I am for the Simply releases, it's a shame Network didn't do "Warship", as they would have included the behind the scenes feature from "Blue Peter" (I doubt Simply will be doing).

Yes, definitely "Blue Peter", that would be great, I remember when UK Gold screened some on Sundays.

A compilation of "Bleep And Booster" serials would be very welcome as well ( two were released by Watershed on VHS, years ago).

Also "Swap Shop" would be nice, "Captain Zep" and "Rentaghost".

Shoulder To Shoulder is absolutely magnificent, caught up with the whole series a couple of years ago and it is definitely a must-watch, beautifully written and performed.

Charge 200 quid a set if you want Network - there's a contingent who'll pay it, for a release with a few extras. Patrick Mower and Brendan Price interview, Phillip Hinchcliffe interview, David Wickes, Bob Baker/Dave Martin.... C'mon..

No the BBC don't have them.

The quality of the audio was quite impressive (as I obtained a copy of his dvd and demuxed the audio to my archive, but it could be further improved with a professional release. I don't know how on earth he got hold of them but I'm glad he did.

Did anyone ever get to the bottom of how the guy selling White horses dvds got hold of the English audio tapes?

Also the copies could be restored to a better quality.
On watching agsin some of the voices are over modulated
I've copied the episodes from the dvd he offers to my Sony mobile and enjoy watching them this way. When I turn on the Dynamic normaliser it improves the voices immediately, so perhaps software exists to make this a permanent feature for the dvd.

I had assumed ( rightly or wrongly) that the sound tapes were off-airs, although why would one be missing?

The recordings are off air and include the BBC announcer on some, which is nice to have. I reckon the soundtrack was recorded by some form of hand held mic as occasionally you can hear a plane in the background. This could mean the person lived near an airport.
Suspicion falls on Andrej is the missing episode perhaps a failed recording. It is a mystery as to who taped these and who recovered them.

I'm guessing they may have come from the 1978 repeat ( that's the last one, I think), if it had ben the 77 one, whoever recorded it would have had another chance to get the missing one.
