(Not a serious answer, but I must have spent more time watching that one than anything else!)

I'm very close to putting Public Eye because it's a show that I've really come to appreciate enormously in recent times but I think, in terms of a series that has reached me in different ways over the course of my life (having been just old enough to watch it when first broadcast), I'd have to say...
The Prisoner.
The Prisoner.
Re: Favourite show (one choice only)
It's impossible, but if pushed I'd say Play for Today as it covers just about every genre.
Re: Favourite show (one choice only)
Right now? Division 4, I'm watching one or two episodes a night in random order and it's the highlight of my day.
Re: Favourite show (one choice only)
Space 1999 or Classic Dr. Who but since I have to choose it will be Space 1999.

Juliet Bravo!
Re: Favourite show (one choice only)
"Doctor Who" (classic series)
(Although, not asked for, I'll just say that second and third, would be "The Avengers" and "The Prisoner").

Difficult question, but for sheer entertainment, for encapsulating a time and place, and for being something I can watch and rewatch...

As at 7 November 2016 I'd probably have to say Dad's Army, a predictable choice but I can't think of anything I'd put in front of it if we're choosing just one programme.
This time next year it could be something else, although undoubtedly DA would still be 'up there'.

Engineering Information announcements on BBC2.
I'm being only slightly facetious about this, in that that not only led me to the Trade Test Colour Films (of which Philips' Evoluon and Pan-Tele-Tron were clear favourites), but also to those names which were like Chimborazo and Cotapaxi were to W.J. Turner ("Rumster Forest, Mynydd Machen/Had stolen my heart away!"

Interesting..."Evoluon" is my favourite of the TTF's.

It's a matter of regret that I never got to go to Eindhoven to see the place in its pomp.
