Actors from a programme appearing in another
Actors from a programme appearing in another
Spurred on from the "Crossovers" and "Same Character, Different Programme" threads I thought about at least two actors in a programme appearing in another, say as guests. Not to include spin off programmes. Some examples come to mind, perhaps you can add others?
Dennis Waterman and Stephanie Turner: Brother and sister in, "Special Branch", husband and wife in, "The Sweeney".
Patrick Troughton and Colin Douglas: "Dr Who- The Enemy of the World" and "A Family At War"
Colin Douglas and Coral Atkins: "A Family At War" and "The Sweeney-Contact Breaker" (didn't appear together in the latter)
Dennis Waterman and George Cole: "The Sweeney-Tomorrow Man" and "Minder
John Alderton and Pauline Collins- "Upstairs Downstairs" and "No Honestly"
Just some that come to my mind.

Just remembered the early '60s film, "This is My Street" which featured Mike Pratt and Annette Andre who of course appeared in "Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased)"
Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
Lewis Collins and Martin Shaw: The New Avengers and The Professionals (although, one did lead to the other).
Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
Martin Landau and Barbara Bain were in some American thing prior to Space 1999.

The "David Croft Repertory Company" (Paul Shane, Jeffrey Holland, Su Pollard et al.) in Hi-de-Hi!, You Rang, M'Lord?, Oh! Doctor Beeching, etc. (Were Donald Hewlett and Michael Knowles joined at the hip?)
A less obvious one: David Jason appearing as Blanco alongside Ronnie Barker in Porridge before they went on to make Open All Hours, the age gap being interestingly reversed!

Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
In a similar vein, Rik Mayal and Adrian Edmonson (The Young Ones, Bottom) and add Nigel Planer (The Young Ones, Filthy Rich and Catflap). As a further add on, include The Comic Strip Presents for all of them.Brock wrote:The "David Croft Repertory Company" (Paul Shane, Jeffrey Holland, Su Pollard et al.) in Hi-de-Hi!, You Rang, M'Lord?, Oh! I'm not sure if this counts as I don't recall that they shared screen time together, but Doctor Who's Kinda featured both Simon Rouse and Jeff Stewart who both went on to have long standing roles in The Bill.
Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
Richard Briers and Penelope Keith ("The Good Life") went on to appear together in "The Norman Conquests", which also starred Penelope Wilton, who would join Briers in "Ever Decreasing Circles".
Felicity Kendal and Paul Eddington ("The Good Life") appeared together in "The Camomile Lawn".
William Gaunt and Patricia Garwood in an episode of "The Agatha Christie Hour", followed by "No Place Like Home".
Wanda Ventham and Denis Lill in the "Who" serial "Image Of The Fendahl", went on to play Cassandra's Mum and Dad in "Only Fools And Horses".

Don Henderson and John Woodvine in.... wait for it... New Scotland Yard, Strangers, and Knights of God
Not both TV, but Peter Cushing and Andre Morrell in the BBC Nineteen Eighty-Four, as well as Hammer's Hound of the Baskervilles and Cash on Demand.

Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
Peter Cleall appeared in an episode of "Mixed Blessings", which Joan Sanderson was one of the stars of, also in the cast was Carmen Monroe, who did two episodes of "The Fenn St Gang" with Cleall.
Carmen Monroe was a regular in "The Fosters" with Norman Beaton, and would go on to play his wife in "Desmonds".
Joan Sanderson worked with Prunella Scales in the radio version of "Marriage Lines", before moving on to one of the "Six Plays By Alan Bennett", "Fawlty Towers" , and both Radio and TV versions of "After Henry".

Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
Another one: Derren Nesbitt and Jennifer Wilson appeared as estranged husband and wife in an episode of "Gideon's Way". They appeared as police officers in the very early episodes of "Special Branch".
Re: Actors from a programme appearing in another
Probably bound to happen as both actors seem to be in everything at the moment:
Nicola Walker and Mark Bonnar both appeared in the second series of Unforgotten and they are also in Big Finish's Eighth Doctor adventures Doom Coalition and Ravenous.

Also Martin Miller (Kublai Khan) was in that one, a mini-"Doctor Who" Convention. The Wooksta! wrote:Mark Eden and Derren Nesbitt in Doctor Who: Marco Polo and The Prisoner: It's Your Funeral.
Although they weren't in the same scenes, Roger Delgado and Clive Morton in a "Virgin Of The Secret Service" episode, and of course the "Who" serial "The Sea Devils", several years later.
In the same serial, Clive Morton and Royston Tickner, and then two years later in "Rogue's Rock".

Corinne Skinner-Carter and Rudolph Walker both appeared as husband and wife in a 1993 episode of Lovejoy and then cropped up again as the separated couple Audrey and Patrick Trueman in Eastenders.
Dianne Parish was also in the episode of Lovejoy and related to them in some way during their Eastenders stint.

Talking of "Eastenders", Rudolph Walker teamed up with Kate Williams for a while, having previously appeared together in "love Thy Neighbour" of course.

Mention of Rudolph Walker - he was in Doctor Who: The War Games with Leslie Schofield, who also popped up in Eastenders as a regular. Not sure if they shared any screen time though.
