Didn't René Cutforth advertise something, late in his career?

Krona margarine. Wasn't it the Daily Mirror that carried the headline "Krona man dies" over its report of his death?

Again, some good ones there, Gay Hamilton, Justine Lord and Terry and June.

On the "Blue Peter" doc, there was mention of the advert John Noakes did, but had to do it with a different dog, skip.

Remember the Scotch video cassette animated skeleton? Re-record, not fade away.

Am I right in thinking the voice over for him was provided by Brian Wilde?

It was originally Deryck Guyler, but I think Brian Wilde may have done the later ones.

Yes, I'm sure it was Deryck Guyler to start with, it's his version I tend to think of first.

Frank Muir did a couple of funny ads, one for Unigate milk...the fondly remembered, 'Watch out watch out watch out...there's a Humphrey about!', and a very amusing one for Cadbury's Fruit and Nut.

Dennis Norden, did one for Mintoes and outtakes from it appeared on "It'll Be Alright", both writers did an early ad for Capstan Cigs.

I mentioned earlier about Richard Briers voicing many commercials yet very seldom appearing in person.

This came into my Facebook feed this morning!

I don't remember him and Felicity Kendall advertising Polaroid cameras!

this is about a parody of a commercial but does anyone know who played the family on the Cornflakes packet in The Young Ones atom bomb episode?

Mark Arden is the dad - he appeared in several other Young ones episodes, notably Cash, Nasty and Sick, then later London's Burning.
