Talking of ITC's ' adventures of ' series
I vaguely remember 'Adventures of Francis Drake' as a quality show with a satisfying theme tune.
..and 'Sword of Freedom' wasn't that Robin Hood in Florence LOL ?
I think we had a good TV relationship going on with America at the time.
They loved all our costume historicals and we loved all their western serials.

They were great shows, all excellent, but "Buccaneers" was a great favourite, they should add that one to the line-up.
