Heard on the Radio

Post by Private Frazer »

Heard any TV stars on the radio lately? Su Pollard popped up on 'Loose Ends' talking about her Edinburgh Festival debut in Harpy (was briefly on BBC4's TOTP later too). Hi de Hi! Su, you will get a yellow coat! What energy she has.

Yes, always had that manic energy.

I saw her on "TOTP", with 'Starting Together' as well.

I'm listening to it tomorrow - Tom baker can be heard in today's Graham Norton Radio 2 show; I'm wondering what he'll be talking about!

Russell T Davies is on next Sunday's Desert Island Disks and should be choosing a few he listens to, to get writing inspiration. Hope he talks quite a bit about his Doctor Who time; him writing for the ninth Doctor is already 15 years ago!

RTD's choices :
1.Sugar Mountain- Rock Follies
2.Horus De Cato - Di Niku
3.Three Wheels On My Wagon - Ne Christie Minstrels
4.Mass -Leonard Bernstein
5.Wuthering Heights - Kate Bush (I knew it was that before he said it)
6.Hold That Sucker Down -OT Quartet
7.Song For Ten - Neil Hannon
8.Mr Blue Sky - ELO

Favourite - Leonard Bernstein's Mass
Book - Asterix and the Roman Agent
Luxury - a Pentel pen

RTD can talk as well as write; I regret writing on this or the old forum that Midnight was rubbish
