Great - I've heard good things about this story. Thanks for the heads-up.

Yes, a great play and a brilliant idea, looking forward to hearing what's been done with it.

Hopefully with minimal changes for the medium.

Well, that was more than a few degrees of excellent. Despite listening in daylight, and having read the script, it was provoked a frofound sense of dread.

Yes, very good...listened to it at night for the full effect, it certainly was creepy.
As with "The Stone Tape", it was a very clever idea.

Re: "The Road" R4
I thought it was well-produced and acted but the story itself was fairly predictable. Even something of a trope to be honest. I hadn't come across The Road before so wasn't sure what to expect. Even when the original television play was broadcast this type of plot was old hat in the world of Science Fiction prose. I did enjoy it though, especially the build up but the ending was disappointing for me.
