Great book, very nicely designed, a visual delight of Colour and B/W photos.

RT photographer Don Smith took superb pictures on all his assignments and "Python" was no exception, some lovely shots from unused sketches such as 'The Big Nose Sculpture', and cast in rehearsals.

Also new and archive RT interviews with the cast and an episode by episode guide.

A nice companion piece to Network's upcoming complete series release.

There is a photo in the book ( early 80's) of Michael Palin with the prop head... wonder if he still has it?

There is, of course, mention of the Parrot sketch, but my personal favourite remains the Restaurant sketch ( who would dare complain about a dirty fork after that!).

Favourite edition would probably be "The Cycling Tour", a brave attempt at a single narrative.
