New Gerry Anderson comics partwork

From Buster to Wizard (I couldn't think of any comics beginning with 'A' and 'Z'...)

New Gerry Anderson comics partwork

Post by MrThunder »

I am surprised no-one seems yet to have commented on this imminent 50-edition Eaglemoss partwork covering ALL Gerry's major series right from Supercar to Space: 1999 including material from TV Comic, TV21, Countdown and Look-In. Not only is black and white material being colourised but some of the legendary centrespreads [e.g. Bellamy Thunderbirds] are being reformatted as single pages. That last concept sounds bizarre but from what I have seen it's all a bit rather clever !!!!

It's being tested regionally right now with subscriptions being taken prior to a national launch next year. That is, of course, if the uptake warrants it...

Sounds ineresting, I'd certainly give it a look (in).

As long as, as is the case with so many partworks, the first issue is £1.99 and the rest are about a tenner each!
If I were creating the world I wouldn't mess about with butterflies and daffodils. I would have started with lasers, eight o'clock, Day One!

Went to the website, and no mention at all of the cost. Just 'click here to subscribe'. When you do that, they ask your postcode before any details of the cost.

Sorry but that's malpractice. I expect to be given information about the cost of something before they get any of my private information.

One customer lost.
