"Going A Bundle" was very entertaining and funny, better then the Papers one, reminded me even more of "Get This" and the fun, Fowler and Lynch had on that series.

I thought they were great, a funny double act - especially as James was thought of as a snooty, moody villain.

Yes, they worked well together, would like to have seen Anne Aston as well, as I don't recall those so much.

The film sequences in the final episode of Elizabeth R on BBC-4 tonight looked really *awful*. Grotty as anything, with all sorts of jumps too. I know it's a running gag that in the colour / 16mm era it often looked like BBC film inserts in drama and comedy were dragged around the floor first, but it really *did* look like that here.

Despite what happened with the Dr Loo incident I’m really happy for the RT.

Looks like the rather Magnificent Interpol Calling

is being replaced with One Step Beyond On TPTV

A US-made rival to The Twilight Zone looks like they packed their bags in Hollywood at some point and moved into MGM Boreham Wood.

Going to switch the radar on now for BBC4 as that looked a nice line up I missed.

TPTV say there is another new NHP coming after this week's premier episode.

Only just caught them myself, hopefully more to come, I'll be checking Four more often too.

Yes, Thursday at 5pm for the next "NHP", can't wait.

When they have got through all of them, (Unless there are more) I wonder if they will consider a DVD release through Renown, so long as they leave the idents and adcaps intact of course, I hope so anyway.

Once again an enjoyable "NHP", a script from Roger Marshall, "Told By A Dead Man" from 1961, I liked the basic story, kept you watching as usual, although a bit of a quick ending!

No Eric Lander and with a husky voiced Raymond Francis, getting over a cold, direction was excellent from Richard Gilbert, and the filmed scenes were very good, the exteriors for the series as a whole seem to be very well done, compared to some other series of the time.

The print was not as good as previous ones, didn't see any jumps though.

I reckon Eric Lander was off with a bad cold LOL.
I think he got his own spin-off show when he left? but don't think it lasted long.

I would say the print had a fair bit of wear and that the sound showed signs of a great deal of noise reduction, leading to some background "twittering" at the very start. I'm sure it made Lockhart's cold sound worse too.

Just spent some time working out the Tube stations seen at the start of Told By a Dead Man (Barons Court and Arsenal). Still holding out for the later episode where Mike McStay and two uniformed coppers chase a villain into Embankment station...

"Echo Four-Two", sadly ran into a few problems, unfortunate for Eric Lander, a good Actor.

Probably been watched a fair few times.

The next one on 14th June, 4.55pm, "Contents Noted" from 1962, looks like a good quality print judging by the trail.

Arsenal was easy (there's not many in residential streets like that), but I had to call in a second opinion on the first!

Great though it is to get these episodes, the random scheduling is a bit annoying.

Hear, hear! I don't have TV on much, and don't always remember to check the TPTV schedules so have annoyingly missed a couple of episodes of series recently. I just hope that they come round again and I spot them in time.

You got there though.

Presumably filmed within a few days of the broadcast.

Yes, top channel, but that's one of it's week points, although there's a few other channels that seem to have the same problem.

I don't quite remember it- but saw one on TP a few weeks ago, what a great little programme, excellent pairing

of Harry and James both known for playing characters at opposite ends of the characters' spectrum.
