Just received a copy of this volume from the author and while I've only had a quick chance to flick through it due to deadlines it does look *very* interesting. It's basically episode guides to SF, fantasy and horror TV shows made in the 1940s and 1950s... and as such is covering a lot of the American live and filmed series of the period which I know I'll find very interesting indeed to read about in terms of their production methods and approaches to what was still a new and emerging medium.
In case anyone else is interested, I've been told that the website to order it can be found here:
Certainly looking forwards to dipping into it a bit more as and when time allows, and felt it prudent to flag it up here for anyone else who is interested in genre shows in these very early days of television.
All the best
Film, stage, music, books and so on...
